One Month!!

Annabelle turned one month this week. When I sent my Mom the picture below, she replied, "it seems impossible, but the calendar doesn't stop turning over those days."

And she is so right. While the days are tiring beyond words with two, the days are flying by. There was snow on the ground the week I gave birth to Annabelle, but now the sun is shining most days and we are able to take daily walks and venture to the playground to Henry's delight. It seems that spring is finally here!

We are slowly settling into a routine and Henry is being a wonderful big brother, giving Annabelle lots of love and attention. We've had lots of visitors as well.

My best friend growing up, Liz, and her daughter Evelyn (and husband Mike) visited when Annabelle was 2 weeks old.

Uncle Adam got some snuggle time in with Annabelle

Uncle Ryan also visited his new niece!

Annabelle went to the Dr. last week when she was 3 weeks, 3 days. She weighed 10lbs even and was 22inches long. 85th for height and 80th for weight. Our long chunky baby is doing great. She's definitely a baby that prefers to be held and will let you know when she's unhappy! Thank goodness I have a plethora of slings and carriers to make it easier to still play with Henry and make meals with Annabelle in tow. She's starting to smile and coo - mostly at her big brother! She knows all our voices and definitely turns her head when big brother walks into the room. Here are some more pictures of our first few weeks with our family of 4.

Henry ready to venture out into the spring rain! We will take it, it's better than snow!

Two kids?!  Loving it.

She sleeps... (sometimes)

Our little Easter Bunny with her big brother. We had a lovely Easter. The bunny hid eggs for Henry and brought lovely baskets for both kids. We grilled, "relaxed" and enjoyed the lovely, sunny day as a family.
